The short version

• The name and states you type into our search tool stay in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored by us.
• The "I found money" amount and share card are created on your device. They are not uploaded.
• We never ask for your Social Security number, bank details or date of birth.
• We do not sell personal information.

When you buy a kit

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details under its own privacy policy, and we never see your full card number. We receive your name, email and the details you enter to personalize your kit, and use them only to deliver your kit, provide support and handle refunds. We keep order records as required for tax purposes.

Analytics and cookies

We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to count page visits in aggregate. If we add any analytics or advertising cookies, we'll update this page first.

Links to other sites

Official state sites, MissingMoney.com and any future partners have their own privacy policies. When you search on a state's site, you share information with that state, not with us.

Your choices

To access or delete order information we hold, email hello@foundmoneyhq.com. California and other state residents may have additional rights under their state's privacy laws, and we honor those requests.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13.
